Scholarship
Program
Each year, the Arizona Airports Association (AzAA) offers a
number of scholarships to qualified members and students
pursuing aviation education programs with the goal of
enhancing their careers in the aviation industry. For
additional information, please reference either the
appropriate Policy Decision or the corresponding
scholarship application.
Professional Accreditation and Certification Scholarship

program (A.A.E.; C.M. or A.C.E.).

Conference Scholarship

Accreditation Stipend

Eligibility requirement:

Obtained the Accredited Airport Executive (AAE)
designation.

Obtained Certified Member (CM) or Airport Certified
Employee (ACE) designations.

Additional information:
o
Applicant must be a current member of AzAA in good
standing for at least one (1) year prior to receiving the
designation.
o
Members
who have received the Professional Accreditation &
Certification Scholarship to attend their certification
course are not eligible for a stipend.
o
Letter
requests for a stipend may be made at any time to the AzAA
Scholarship Chair and are subject to approval by the Board
of Directors.

Important Note:
All scholarship applications must be received prior to
attendance at a conference or program. Scholarship
recipients have one year from award date to attend the
qualified course or conference. If the recipient does not
attend the qualified course or conference during that time
frame, the scholarship is no longer valid.
