On August 18th, 1929, twenty women pilots entered the first official women-only air race in the United States from Santa Monica, CA to Cleveland, OH....  

Yuma International Airport cordially invites you to to join them to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Women's National Air Derby complete with Fly-In and a full day of events in their memory.  Their special guest is Gene Nora Jessen; Aviatrix, Author, Past-President of The Ninety-Nines, and Almost Astronaut.  Gene Nora will share her knowledge about the Women's Air Derby and have books available for purchase and autograph.
